We are now accepting applications for advance placement for fiscal year 2026.
Supported students are not only provided with and allocated an amount equivalent to their living expenses and research funds, but are also expected to play an active role in various fields of society in the future by participating in student support projects (providing a research environment and career development/nurturing content).
- １．Support details：
Research-focused support：2.16 million yen per year (180,000 yen per month)*A stipend equivalent to living expenses is provided to enable full-time research.
*Research funds must be used appropriately under the management and guidance
Research activity expenses: 300,000 yen per year
of the supervising (or prospective) professor and in accordance with the university's
accounting regulations.
- ２．Number of students：
About 18 students
1st year students：about 12 students
2nd, 3rd and 4th year students：a few students
MD-PhD course (Graduate School of Medicine)：a few students
Ph-D.-Pharmacist program (Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences)：a few students)

- ４．Application Procedure：
Applicants should consult with their prospective supervisor (generally a professor), fill out the application form below, and submit it by email to the Student Support Division, Academic Affairs Department during the application period.
In addition, applicants should ask their prospective supervisor to prepare a letter of recommendation, which they should then email directly to the Student Support Division.
